The MDPN 100 - Day 11 | Easy F*cking Ways To Get More Sales
Transcript
Welcome to Day 11 of the MDPN 100.
As always, I want to start by saying that you should NOT use AI to write your story. I say this because when you give AI your full backstory and what you learned from it, it can then learn it and feed it to any and everyone on the internet.
We’re entering a time where the only thing that’ll set you apart from your competitors AND AI is your story and expertise. The stories you have and the lessons you’ve learned that AI can’t replace or replicate (yet, and hopefully never).
So I think it’s really important for you to protect them.
In today’s story, you’ll highlight a belief that is holding your target audience back from achieving their goal. A belief that you once had.
In this story, you’ll want to:
Talk about where this belief originated from and why you were so willing to accept it
Talk about the challenges and blockages this belief created for you
Talk about what made you start to question the belief
Talk about what you did differently after releasing the belief
Talk about how you benefited from releasing the belief
Ideally you want to pick a belief that your product disproves, or a belief that creates a “trap” or problem that your product solves.
This story does a few things:
It helps your target audience realize if their perspective is incorrect. By the time they reach you, they’ve probably already spent hours scouring the internet and bingeing the same YouTube videos you did, so their minds may be filled with the same information that led you astray. You may be the first person to tell them something new.
It helps them see that this belief is contributing to the problems they’re looking to solve. If they have spent hours on YouTube, it’s probably because they’re looking for ways to solve the issues they keep running into.
This is your opportunity to shift their perspective and open their minds to a brand new path. If you present it properly, they’ll be fascinated by what you have to say, and will want to start bingeing YOUR content next. This is how you hook them as a loyal follower. It shows them that you can guide them down an easier path that will give them better results. That YOU have the solution that will help them break free from the cycle of struggle.
I don’t know about you, but when I’ve been dealing with the same problem for weeks, maybe even months, and I’ve tried multiple solutions that haven’t worked, I eventually reach a point where I’m willing to practically throw money at whoever can make the struggle cycle stop. This is the response you want to elicit from your audience. It shows the perks that they can look forward to when they choose your path. When you highlight what improved for you after you dropped the belief, they’ll start thinking, “Oh wow…THIS might be the one thing that changes EVERYTHING for me. Maybe it can really be this simple. I have to find out for myself!”
All of these build trust and increase their interest and willingness to buy.
